Thanks to Christopher Nolan's use of IMAX cameras in The Dark Knight, more directors have been showing interest in filming in IMAX for their feature films. Variety reports:

Warner Bros. announced they will be releasing standard and limited editions of The Dark Knight in DVD and Blu-ray December 9. The Blu-ray limited edition version of the film will include the following:

IMAX Corporation announced today that Eagle Eye: The IMAX Experience grossed approximately $1.6 million of the film's $29.1 million total - nearly six percent of the overall domestic box office - on just 84 IMAX screens, marking IMAX's largest September or October opening for a Hollywood release.
