Birmingham, UK to get new digital IMAX screen

Movie bosses hope that new 007 adventure Skyfall will open the city’s latest big screen with a licence to thrill.

Cineworld Broad Street is set to benefit from a near £1 million investment in the technology which helped make The Dark Knight, Inception and Avatar such massive hits on huge screens as tall as four double-decker buses.

Cineworld Broad Street manager Paul Millington said he was looking forward to having IMAX at his cinema.
