Tornado Alley opens in Sudbury

Giant Screen film Tornado Alley opens in Sudbury, Canada’s Science North. The Sudbury Star writes:
Being in the middle of a tornado is an emotional roller oaster, according to Sean Casey, storm chaser. You start the day with high expectations and then sometimes you are let down.
When you finally come face to face with one, it is both exhilarating and terrifying.
On Saturday and Sunday, get in on the experience at Science North’s IMAX presentation of Tornado Alley 3D.
“When you get hit with the winds, there is this drastic shift — the impact is huge and the whole vehicle is shuddering and shaking from the turbulence,” Casey said, about being in the TIV 2, a tornado intercept vehicle of his own creation.
“The roar of the tornado is deafening, it sounds like your head is right next to the Niagara Falls.”
