The Wichita Business Journal writes:

Bill Warren opened his Wichita IMAX theater in 2010 with much fanfare.

Those involved with the $10 million project launched confetti out of plastic champagne bottles and took turns lauding the theater, which is outfitted with a screen that is six stories tall and roughly 84 feet wide. After all of that, people lined up outside the Warren Theatre at 9150 W. 21st St. for hours to catch “Tron: Legacy 3D” on the IMAX screen.

Now, Warren is ready for more.

He is installing a new IMAX 3D Silver Screen, which will be hoisted into place during a ceremonial event Tuesday morning.

Still six stories tall, Warren says the new screen will “improve the already spectacular presentation by increasing lights levels by up to 50 percent.”
