The Sun Sentinel reports:

The AutoNation IMAX 3D theater at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale is getting an estimated $2 million makeover.

The theater closed down last month and is set to reopen Oct. 13 boasting a new 60-foot by 80-foot screen, new luxury seats, a new powerful sound system and digital projectors.

The new digital projectors will be available in addition to the theater’s current 15/70 film projector, ultimately enabling the theater to show movies in both formats.
