National Infantry Museum to open IMAX theater
March 13, 2009 – 11:29 amThe National Infantry Museum in Fort Benning, Georgia will be opening their IMAX theater next week. The theater recently held a sneak preview for the media to showcase the theater. WRBL News 3 reports:
Some of the films that will be shown at the theatre will cater to the military base in Columbus. Director Joe Kleiman says the museum as a whole will help bring money to the area.
“It’s a major revenue source for this museum and a major attraction to pull people down to the museum, it also gives something for the museum visitor to enjoy while they’re down here.“
