Odeon Cardiff IMAX opens next month

WALES’ first Imax 3D cinema is set to open in Cardiff Bay next month.
The 16.8m wide, 7.7m high screen promises to deliver “the most immersive 3D movie experience ever created”, according to its designers.
The new cinema will offer crystal-clear 3D images and laser-aligned surround sound clear enough for the audience to pinpoint exactly where each sound is coming from.
Work on the 262-seat theatre has already begun and is due to be completed in December in order to cash in on the Christmas crowds.
