Light Before Xmas to open Friday at Detroit Sci Center

The stop-animation film, “The Light Before Christmas” opens Friday at the Detroit Science Center’s Chrysler IMAX Dome theatre.
The film is about two children named Katie and Makean who end up as characters in the poem “The Night Before Christmas” while it is being read to them by their friend known as The Candleman.
Tickets are $13.95 for adults and $11.95 for children and include museum admission.
The Detroit Science Center is located at 5020 John R Street.
