Quad City Times: Putnam offers free admission to exhibit halls on its birthday

The Quad City Times reports on Davenport, Iowa’s Putnam Museum and its 142nd birthday discount:
There have been some inexpensive deals featured in the $10 or less series, but the Putnam Museum’s 142nd birthday is the first freebie.
The Putnam is offering free admission to all its exhibit halls Monday, Dec. 14.
Those include Black Earth Big River, an exhibit that tells the history of the Mississippi River in the Quad-City region.
“You’re actually walking through a cave. It’s all about the Mississippi River environment,” said Lori Arguello, the director of marketing at the Putnam/IMAX.
