Surfing fans are in for a treat next month when Event Cinemas play a 3D surf film on the Giant Screen.

The Ultimate Wave Tahiti is said to plunge audiences into the stunning beauty of an island paradise on a quest to find the perfect wave-riding experience.

Surfing legend Kelly Slater and famed Tahitian waterman Raimana Van Bastolaer star in the movie, which was filmed at Teahupo’o, a world-renowned surfing location off the south-west of Tahiti.

“Like Kelly Slater himself – the epitome of what the best surfer in the world should be in terms of athletic prowess, intelligence and courage – to many the wave at Teahupo’o is indeed the ultimate wave,” says director Stephen Low.
