The Daily News reports:
Batavia native Tim Pastore will lead development and production for a new 3-D television network.
Sony, Discovery Communications and IMAX Corp. are collaborating on the joint venture, which aims to be one of the first fully-programmed, around-the-clock 3-D television networks
Pastore, as vice president of development and production, will be responsible for the commissioning, production and development of original content for the network. He is also expected to serve as a eky contributor to the network’s strategic planning, direction and operation.
Tom Cosgrove, the project’s president and CEO, described Pastore as a strong leader with an extensive background “in developing high-quality content and launching successful cable networks.”
