Community Free Day at Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo® on Saturday, January 29, 2011

Omaha, NE (January 27, 2011) – Join Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo on Saturday, January 29, 2011 for Community Free Day. Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo will be offering free gate admission from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 29.

Dennis Pate, Zoo Director and CEO said, “We are excited to extend the opportunity for the entire community to visit Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo to learn about wild animals with no gate fee.”

On Community Free Day, guests can visit the Lozier IMAX® Theater where tickets can be purchased for $5 for everyone. Current films playing include, Alaska: Spirit of the Wild, Everest or Kilimanjaro: To the Roof of Africa.

Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo is located at Nebraska’s I-80, Exit 454 and is open year-round from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. Regular admission prices for 2011 are $13.50 for adults, $9.00 for children (ages 3 – 11) and $12 for seniors. Household memberships are available for $89 through March 20, 2011.
